Primera’s PX450 Color Printer is full-color label, wristband and photo ID printer. Its compact size and top-loading consumables makes it the perfect output device for a wide variety of applications in admissions, patient and asset tracking, specimen labeling and other critical applications in healthcare.

Utilizing the latest in inkjet technology, the PX450 is quiet enough to be placed in even the most noise-sensitive areas. Its compact size and top-loading consumables makes it small enough to fit virtually anywhere. Even pedestal or wall-mounting is possible.

Print resolution is 4800 dpi, making it easy to print full-color photos, graphics and bar codes that are sharp, clear and easy to read.

Primera’s healthcare labeling solutions help you meet the compliance standards of HIPAA, FDA, AHA and other industry guidelines for patient identification and privacy. Together, the printers and consumables provide high-resolution photos and bar codes, water-, scratch- and smudge-resistant output, and the ability to add color coding without changing substrates.

PX450 is easy to connect with most of today’s POS systems and computers. A standard USB interface port is provided for use with the included Windows® XP/Vista and Mac® OS 10.4 or higher printer drivers. Supplies include a drop-in paper or label roll and a snap-in tri-color ink cartridge. Paper widths are flexible with a minimum width of 1” (25.4mm) and a maximum width of 4.25” (108mm).
